Woodlands Equestrian Club – Houston is a premier 22-acre, multidisciplinary show barn.

 Located on the border of The Woodlands and Tomball, just north of Houston, WEC offers comprehensive Hunter, Show Jumping, and Equitation training for riders of all levels. Students benefit from exceptional facilities, convenient access, top-tier amenities, full-service experienced staff, and a dedicated training program led by Christian Rogge.

Jumping Program Director

Christian Rogge was born in Hamburg, Germany, and began riding and competing at age 8.

While earning his Business Management degree from the Academy of Economic Science in Hamburg, he achieved his upper-level German jumping credentials and became a certified riding instructor.

​

In the 1990s, he began training in Texas, where he learned to navigate and appreciate the cultural expectations of the U.S. equestrian market.

​

Today, Christian attends more than 20 horse shows each year and frequently travels to Germany in search of quality prospects. In 2016, Christian married Hailey Henderson, who shares his passion for jumpers and the equestrian lifestyle.

JAMAL MANSOUR

​Jamal is a professional horse trainer and accomplished show-jumping rider with over 18 years of experience. He has built his career on developing confident, capable riders and well-trained, athletic horses.

With a strong competitive background—having successfully shown up to 1.45m at national and international levels, he brings a focused, thoughtful approach to every horse-and-rider partnership. Known for his calm communication, technical precision, and commitment to classical horsemanship, he specializes in helping intermediate and advanced riders refine their skills, deepen their connection with their horses, and achieve peak performance. Whether schooling young jumpers or preparing clients for the show ring, Jamal prioritizes trust, clarity, and confidence both in the saddle and on the ground.

MARY HIRSCH 

Equestrian Instructor

Mary brings a unique philosophy and approach to the equestrian discipline.

 

She teaches students of all levels at Woodlands Equestrian Club - Houston.

JAUME BENDICHO

​​Jaume began his show-jumping career in Argentina, training at several equestrian centers including the Alemán Club of Buenos Aires. 

He continued his equestrian development in the US, under Marta Renilla, our Head Dressage trainer at Woodlands Equestrian Club. 

Jaume enjoys working with new and developing riders, teaching strong foundational skills and supporting their progression to higher levels. He is passionate about sharing his love for horses and helping others build meaningful, confident connections with them. He is proud to be part of a horse-centered family (his own daughter rides at WEC).

Jaume is a certified Health Coach and holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology, which complements his holistic approach to training and rider well-being.
